That's all for now folks...

I can't bring myself to show off the rest of the house yet. Maybe once the mountains of boxes are gone and the projects are done (though a few homeowner friends have told us that we are disillusioned to believe it will ever all be done). Anyhow. This is our life these days. Not too shabby.

Welcome,

The view when you come in the door,

Lights, Camera, Action

Like it? I installed it myself.

The other kitchen view

The kitchen... my pride, my love, my joy.

Behold, your kingdom awaits...

The front door. Notice the new doorknob and new deadbolt. As part of the stack o' papers we had to sign to buy the place we had to agree to change the locks. I guess it makes sense...

New Lights

We decided to get lights for next to the garage.

Everybody is getting along now

Everybody has agreed to a truce... I had to put the camera in the other room while the computer had a timeout for a restart and now everybody is happy again.
So here are a few pics.

This is the view from across the street by our mailbox.

Grrrr...

Okay, so I have been in blog hiding. I didn't want to take pictures because so much is a work in progress. Then I finally took some pics and now the computer and the camera are not getting along.
One says busy. The other one says it is failing to communicate... why can't everybody just get along?

Boiling

For those of you who might have visited this humble town of Modesto you know how hot it can get. It is pretty much boiling today. The high was 105 and now at 6:00 it is still 103. Ugh. The temperature drains me which is a very bad thing since I moved just one short week ago. Once my computer is connected to the internet again (hopefully soon, but we have to get a new phone line added to the office and with it being this hot I feel to guilty to send the handyman up to the attic to do the work so I can waste time blogging) I will post pics of the house. For now I will just declare how grateful I feel for family and a few friends that have helped us out SO MUCH!!!
