A Year Ago

A year ago today Alyson was born. She displayed her excitement for her birthday party by using her ceral bowl (Cheerios topped with cows milk for the first time!) as a party hat. The bowl fell off, but you can see the evidence left behind, milk in her hair.

Callie decided to begin the festivities well before Alyson got here this morning, by waking up at 5:45. Grr. I was totally ecstatic to get the call last year at that time that Alyson had been born, so I guess Callie was just trying to help me relive those feelings... Yeah, it didn't work.
