In college, my friend, Traci, had something she called a pink and green violation. This is a prime example of a pink and green violation. We didn't plan it; Callie just happen to get a new swimsuit from Grandma and I happen to be wearing a green shirt.

Now that I have a baby girl, I've come to realize that the pink and green violation just tends to happen now. It has happened between Gary and me too. I still don't like it, but I guess I'm a little more tolerant of it now.
I used to manage a stationery store and one month, I was asked to do our entire display window in pink and green. As it turned out, pink and green was the new black and red.
I felt like I was spending the entire month in a country club or Lilly Pulitzer ad. Ahhhhh! The cuteness!
By the way, I now love pink and green together. And brown and blue. And pink and brown. Yep.

I must agree that pink and green are rather cute together, though I prefer the lighter shades of each.
I think pink and green CAN go well together; perhaps just not THAT pink with THAT green. Actually I'm not sure WHAT pink *would* look good with THAT green, but hey, I'm sure you've got many more violations coming to test it out.
